EVELATE is a training program designed to improve overall athleticism in a new and fun way. Have you ever tried to do anything athletic in the sand? It's Hard! What a great way to train though. The ever changing, moving sand beneath your feet will definitely challenge your muscles and core to the max. This will carry over to any indoor or outdoor sports by improving your explosive speed, power, and vertical leap. It will also help reduce your risk of injury by cross training your body on a different surface, much softer than a gym floor. So what sport involves quick change of direction, explosiveness, vertical leap, and speed???? All of them!
ELEVATE Performance Beach Training programs were developed and administered by Angela M. Wannemacher ATC,L. Angie works full time as an Athletic Trainer for a prominent regional medical group. She has been involved in Athletics all her life. Angie played Volleyball and Softball for the University of Findlay. Currently, she is playing in professional beach volleyball tournaments on the EVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour. Her personal activities include running, playing soccer, swimming, and skiing.
ELEVATE Proformance Beach Training sessions will last for 3 consecutive weeks, 2 times per week, for 2 hour sessions. The training sessions will be done in a small group format for general training/conditioning, and also divided for one on one sport specific training. The program is progressional in format in order to prevent over training and injury. Each new training session will involve more difficult and challenging movements than the previous session to bring out the best in every athlete. The sessions will include core work, foot drills, polymetric and forward/lateral drills. There will be open dates set for rain dates and vacations.
The first session will be June 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, and 26. Times available will be 12:30 - 2:30, 2:30 - 4:30 and 7:00 - 9:00 (if needed) on these dates. The cost will be $300 per athlete for a 3 week session($50 per 2 hour session). One on one, sport specific training sessions are also available for $360 per athlete for a 3 week session ($60 per 2 hour session). Volleyball Skills one on one training sessions are available for $35 per hour.
